RStudio for R

My colleague Adam Reid suggested that I try RStudio for using R.

Installing and running RStudio
I installed it on my Mac laptop by going to the downloads page and downloading the latest Mac installer (dmg file).  This brought up an icon for RStudio, which I double-clicked on. Then the RStudio window opened (hurray!):
